All eight clubs also played on Boxing Day, with new N/West Division leaders Colne looking to extend their advantage at the top with a trip to Clitheroe.
Kendal Town, who have played more games than anybody else in the division, will host Widnes for their 13th league match of the season, while City of Liverpool make the relatively short trip to Runcorn Linnets.
Elsewhere, Marine play their first home league match since October 27 as they welcome Prescot Cables, for what is likely to be their final match before the visit of Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup third round on Sunday week.
Marine chairman Paul Leary said: “After a long absence without league games due to our fantastic progress in the Emirates FA Cup it is a relief that we have had two league games recently with the visit to Kendal Town just before Christmas followed by the short trip yesterday to City of Liverpool FC.
“The game on New Year’s day against Prescot Cables will be our third league game in just 14 days as we attempt to catch up on the number of games played compared with other clubs.”
