The 20-year-old right-back made a good impression as a trialist in the club’s recent pre-season win over York City and was keen to put pen to paper on a contract with the Lions.
Halifax-born Vaughan started his football career as a youngster at Huddersfield Town, before joining Norwich City’s U18s and U23s setup.
He left The Canaries to join Burnley in January 2022 and then had a short spell on loan at Farsley Celtic at the end of last season.
Vaughan had also had trial spells at Buxton, Halifax, Dunfermline and Altrincham before deciding to commit his future to the Pitching In NPL Premier Division side.
“This is a great opportunity that has been given to me,” he said. “I can see that there is a future for the club and that they are ready to bounce back to National League North. I want to be a part of that.
“Personally I am looking to get as many minutes as possible and to try and make my name in football.”
