Named at the start of the month as First First Division North winners alongside Nantwich Town in the top flight and Stafford Rangers in First Division South, Shaun Reid's side have banged in 11 goals since their presentation on Saturday, six against Harrogate Railway Athletic later that afternoon in a 6-3 victory and five more in a 5-1 home win over Droyslden on Tuesday night.
EVO-STIK NPL vice president and FA Respect manager Phil Bradley is pictured handing over one half of the club's reward, a 4.5 litre bottle of Bells Whiskey, to chairman Toby McCormac with Reid collecting their inscribed glass trophy from Clive Timmins, sponsorship manager at Bostik, parent company of the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK.
After their heroics in the FA Cup last season, the Wire have been flying in the league since the season kicked off and were unveiled as last month's top divisional performers after securing five wins and a draw in league action to climb into third spot by the end of the month.
Now second in the table after their goal glut, Reid's men were only getting into their stride in September, taking the entire month to bag the same total of 11 goals.
