Hayton signs Albion deal

Captain Adam pens contract until end of 2012/13

Ossett Albion captain Adam Hayton has signed a contract that will keep him at the Warehouse Systems Stadium until at least the end of next season. The contact also gives a one year extension option at the end of the term.

Adam joined the club during the close season from North West Counties club Barnoldswick Town and made a massive impact on his debut at Witton Albion scoring a spectacular goal from long range. Unfortunately he sustained a long term injury the next day and was missing until mid November. On his return from the injury he was immediately made skipper and has played a huge role in Albion’s revival.

Joint managers Lloyd Fellows and Paul Watson said “We are already looking to strengthen our squad for next season but we also need to retain players of Adam’s quality and commitment. He has been an inspiration over the last three months and we are delighted he has committed his future to the club.”
