Before drawing 2-2 with Matlock Town at the Weaver Stadium on Tuesday night, the Dabbers were honoured for bagging an astonishing 24 goals in four wins and six defeats in the Premier Division, results that took them to second in the table by the end of September. Undefeated throughout the month, Phil Parkinson's side finished off with a flourish by romping to a 7-1 win over Ramsbottom United in their final outing.
The Dabbers were named at the start of October alongside Stafford Rangers in First Division South and Warrington Town in First Division North as one of the trio of top performing clubs in the monthly competition which is sponsored by league title sponsors EVO-STIK and their parent company Bostik UK.
In front of the Dabbers squad and the on-looking crowd, former Bostik UK managing director and Nantwich Town chairman Tony Davison, far left, is pictured alongside Dale Poulton, Bostik's commercial director, as Dabbers manager Parkinson collects their reward from the league's operations manager Alan Allcock, an inscribed glass trophy to record their achievement and a 4.5 litre bottle of Bells Whiskey to toast their continuing success.
