Hull City Academy Captain Joins Pickering Town

Hull City U23 Academy player Tom Nixon has joined Pickering Town on loan until the end of the season.

Nixon, 19, joined Hull City at the beginning of the 2021/22 season as a result of completing a two-year scholarship at Stoke City.

The full-back was made the captain of the Tiger’s U23 squad, and featured in the first team squad as an unused substitute in Hull City’s EFL clash against Wigan Athletic in August.

He scored his first goal for the U23s in October as his side claimed a 4-0 win against Crewe Alexandra in the Professional Development League.

Nixon will be reunited with fellow U23s teammate Harry Lovick who has impressed at Pickering Town so far, making 11 appearances and earning one assist.
