Hyde make their move

New Hyde United manager David McGurk has made his first signings after taking over from Darren Kelly.

Forward Jack Dyche, 21, joins from Guiseley and has previously played for Ashton United, Bradford Park Avenue and Boston United having come through the ranks at Scunthorpe.

McGurk said: "Jack is an exciting young player and we are delighted to have him on board. He will add goals and creativity to the team.

"We know him well and he is the exact type of character we are looking for and he will be a huge asset to the team with his style of play."

Joining him is midfielder Joel Logan, 24, who arrives from FC United.

McGurk added: "Joel adds another option in the forward positions where we are looking strong so far.

"He has pace to hurt defenders and has a hunger to learn and improve his game. We are looking forward to getting to work with him and we are sure he will be another player that will excite the fans."

Returning to the club is goalkeeper James Hodges, who spent last season with Tadcaster Albion.

Hodges made 14 appearances for the Tigers before leaving in November 2018 to get more game time.

Meanwhile, Alex O'Connor, Jack McConville and Paddy Lane have all re-signed for next season.
