Isaac Baldwin signs new deal at Wincham Park

Witton Albion have announced that Isaac Baldwin has signed a new deal for the 2021/22 Pitching In Northern Premier League season.

The 24-year-old initially joined Witton on loan from Farsley Celtic in November 2019 before making the move permanent last summer.

He has been a key performer in Carl Macauley's team ever since, showing his versatility by playing both on the left and right sides of defence, and skippering the side on occasion.

The full-back explained that it was a fairly straight forward decision to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.

He said: "I've loved it here.

"We started well last year, and if we can keep the majority of the squad together and bring in a couple of new players, there's no reason we can't be fighting for promotion again next year.

"I'm looking forward to the new season and can't wait to get going again."
