Jamie Rainford joins Prescot Cables

Prescot Cables have announced the signing of Jamie Rainford from Widnes.

Rainford, 32, began his career with Cables over ten years ago, and has since featured at Chester, Halifax Town, Glossop North End, Ramsbottom United and Runcorn Linnets.

Manager Craig Davies added: “I am over the moon to bring some of Jamie’s calibre, experience and goalscoring ability to our football club. He is another one who we have identified as a top person for the dressing room and he will fit right in. It’s a big signing for us at this level.”
