Jamie Walker Charity Game - Presentation

After yet another successful Jamie Walker Charity match earlier in the summer, over £19,000 was raised for various organizations.

This year's figure now means that Jamie, who played for Evo-Stik NPL First Division South side Belper Town, has raides over £85,000 for various charities.

Following the match's continued success, a presentation evening will take place at the home of Chesterfield FC to enable all the involved charities to receive their donations.

The evening will include DVD clips and photographs of the recent charity game held at the b2net Stadium on Sunday May 29th which raised £19,600.00. There will be a questions and answers session with the Chesterfield Legends and some of the soap stars who appeared in the game.

The highlight of the evening will be guest speakers former Chesterfield Legends and crowd favourites Dave Caldwell and Bob Newton who will entertain everyone with funny stories and tales of their former team mates, they will be kept under control by Master of Ceremonies Phil Tooley. There will also be an auction of a framed Nottingham Forest European Cup memorabilia item from 1978/79 and 1979/80 signed by Brian Clough, Trevor Francis, John Robertson and
John McGovern kindly donated by Paul White of Hickling and Squires Printers who was one of the sponsors of the match as well as a Tottenham Hotspur shirt signed by Spurs and England star Michael Dawson, hopefully the auction of these two items will make the total raised over £20,000.

A licensed bar will operate until 11pm. Tickets £10.00 per person or table or 10 £100.00 (includes supper)

The evening will end with presentation of the three cheques to the Lymphoma Association, the Shannon Bradshaw Trust and the Chesterfield Community Trust
