Jeffs reaches landmark for Vikings

Defender makes 200th appearance

Luke Jeffs reached a milestone 200 appearances for Goole AFC on Saturday.

29-year old Luke made his debut on 16th August 2008 in a 3-3 draw away at kidsgrove and three days later on his home debut he scored a 45 yard screamer in another 3-3 draw this time against Lincoln United.

Luke is now chasing the all time record of appearances which is held by former manager Nigel Danby who played 261 games.

The Vikings present manager Karl Rose has made 104 appearances and forward Vill Powell will join the 100 club if he makes two out the last three games this season.

Another player approaching the 100 landmark is Terry Barwick who is currently on 94 games.
