Keogh and Czubik headline Mossley five

Former interim manager Andy Keogh is one of five players to commit their futures to Mossley.

Keogh, 32, has made 209 appearances for the club, scoring 36 goals, and stepped up to manager following the departure of Dave Wild in February. Earlier in the summer, he decided not to take on the role permanently, and Mossley have since appointed David Fish.

He said: “I’m looking forward to the new season and getting back playing at Seel Park. There’s a lot of new young lads coming in, and added to the lads who are staying on from last year, I think we can do very well.”

Returning to the club is forward Szymon Czubik, who arrives from Stockport County.

Czubik, 21, previously had two loan spells with the Lilywhites, scoring on his debut against Skelmersdale.

He said: “Mossley was one of my loan clubs and a really positive experience for me. I can’t wait to come back, get started and hopefully help the team push for promotion.”

Young midfielder Sam Kilner, 18, has re-signed for the new season having arrived from Buxton in January.

They are joined by versatile defender Steve Mason and Ben Richardson, who returns to Seel Park following a spell at Ramsbottom United.
