Jose Stewart signed for the EVO-STIK League South club this weekend as a marketing and sales consultant with the move back to a newly refurbished Linden Homes Club this summer gathering pace.
After five years at Grimsby Borough's Bradley Football Development Centre, the Owls are looking forward to Stewart leading their commercial activities after the ground was given the green light following ground-grading inspections by the Football Association and Northern Premier League before the March 31 deadline.
The Owls stepped in to save the facilities at the Linden Homes Club with the backing of nearly 50 local businesses and over the last year have spent the £50,000 jackpot they landed winning the 2017 Buildbase Club Renovation Programme on upgrades.
Stewart has more than 30 years of sales and recruitment experience and the Owls were delighted to have her on board as the 2017 FA Vase finalists prepared to kick off at Market Drayton Town on Saturday.
A spokesman for the FA Charter Standard Community club said: "The club is delighted to announce that we have appointed Jose Stewart as a marketing and sales consultant. This is a key position and Jose will work with the Owls on a freelance basis.
"Her main brief will be to exploit the vast opportunities offered at the new ground, with plenty of sponsorship potential for individuals, groups and local companies. Jose brings with her a wealth of experience in the sector and a proven track record of being able to "grow" a business."
