Lincoln to host Kick It Out day

Event held in conjunction with Positive Futures, Hartsholme Primary School and Birchwood Primary School.

Lincoln United are to host a “Kick it Out” Family Day for their home game with Quorn on 29th October.

Kick It Out works throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination encourage inclusive practices and work for positive change.

The campaign is supported and funded by the game's governing bodies, including founding body the Professional Footballers Association (PFA), the Premier League and The Football Association.

Along with Paul Archer of Positive Futures, we will be hosting a 6 a side game between the two schools at half-time, two 1v1 inflatable football pitches (before the game and at half-time) and Penalty Shoot Out competition.

The match day programme will include a full interview with United’s Manager discussing his experiences and how he dealt with racism throughout his life and particularly in football.

The pupils at Hartsholme and Birchwood Primary Schools will be admitted free of charge and any parents wishing to attend will be charged at concessionary rates.

Positive Futures is a permanent partner of Lincoln United and the club is delighted to put it’s support behind this campaign with help from our friends and neighbours.
