Macclesfield forward departs club

Macclesfield have announced that forward Bobbie McDonnell has completed a move to NWCFL Premier Division side Vauxhall Motors.

The highly-rated striker joined the club from Runcorn Town back in March, initially signing a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season.

He started last season at Sandbach United, scoring 16 times in 27 appearances prior to being snapped up by the Silkmen.

McDonnell made six appearances for Danny Whittaker’s side as they enjoyed a memorable title-winning campaign, sealing promotion to the Pitching In NPL West Division.
