Macclesfield sign Norwich City goalkeeper

Norwich City goalkeeper Dylan Berry has joined Northern Premier League side Macclesfield on a short-term loan deal.

The 20-year-old originally came through the ranks at Northampton Town before joining the Canaries academy in the summer of 2021, signing a professional contract.

Berry has recently had loans at St Albans City and Havant and Waterlooville.

He joins the Silkmen having made a strong impression with the Saints, leading them to the National League South play-off final last season.

Berry made his Silkmen debut in Saturday's 1-0 victory at Marske United as their new dawn under the management of the recently-appointed Alex Bruce starting with a win on the road.

He replaced regular shot-stopper Conor O'Keefe, who was named on the bench for their trip to Mount Pleasant.
