Marske make 'biggest ever' signing

Marske United are celebrating what they say is 'arguably biggest signing in the club’s history' after landing striker Adam Boyes.

Boyes, 29, has spent his whole career in the top two tiers of non-league football, turning out for York City, Barrow, Guiseley, Bradford Park Avenue and Spennymoor Town.

He made three appearances for England C between 2009 and 2012, and did earn a move to Championship side Scunthorpe United for a six-figure fee, but didn’t make an appearance.

Manager Carl Jarrett said " I am absolutely over the moon to get a player like Adam to Marske. I am really looking forward to working with him. He's a massive signing for the club and shows how serious we are of moving forward.”
