Matlock close applications for manager’s job

There has been significant interest in the post, which became available at the end of the season following the departure of Dave Frecklington.

A club statement said: “Matlock Town can now confirm that we will not be taking any more applications for the vacant position of first team manager.

“We've had a number of high calibre candidates and will be interviewing those who have applied in due course. We would like to thank everybody for their interest and we look forward to having more to share with you at a later date.”
