More added to Matlock squad

Matlock Town have continued building their squad with two re-signings and two new faces.

Midfielders Alex Byrne and Spencer Harris will return to the Proctors Cars Stadium for another season, while Braulio Maieco and Louis Potts arrive from Glossop North End and Northwich Victoria respectively.

Byrne joined from Buxton close to the end of last season, playing three matches, while Harris proved his utility value after being brought in by Steve Kittrick last summer.

Maieco, 23, is a winger or striker that impressed manager Paul Phillips after being brought to training by Kayde Coppin.

Midfielder Potts, 24, was at Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers as a youngster.

Brig return to training without Waddecar Bamber Bridge have returned to training without top scorer Alistair Waddecar, who is awaiting surgery on a hernia issue.
