More half-term camps for Marine

Crosby outfit to run soccer camps

Marine have announced that they are to stage a half term soccer camp at the Arriva Stadium during the spring school holidays. The three day soccer camp is to take place from Monday 13th to Wednesday the 15th of February between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm each day for children from Crosby and the surrounding areas aged 5-11.

The soccer camp is to take place at Marine’s Arriva Stadium and is to be organised by Marine FC Coaching in the Community. The camp will, as usual, provide children with the basic skills of football and will be delivered by qualified coaches from Marine’s first team players and staff and their coaching style will help improve the children’s skills and techniques in a fun and rewarding way. The camp will end with a presentation of certificates and prizes that will be made by Manager Kevin Lynch and Chairman Paul Leary with Club President Jean Pierre Hall also taking part.

Enrolment forms can be downloaded on the www.marinefc.com website or can be collected from the Clubrooms any evening. Enrolment forms are to be handed into the Clubrooms on or before the last date for enrolment of Saturday 11th February 2012.

Marine Chairman Paul Leary said, “We continue to expand our community coaching to local primary school aged children. The use of the Arriva Stadium provides an ideal stage for both boys and girls to experience football coaching in a stadium environment. The direct involvement of our Manager Kevin Lynch with some of our players will add to the coaching experience for the children. I would urge parents to enroll their children as soon as possible as places are limited for this soccer camp.”
