Morgan lends his name to campaign

EVO-STIK League Colwyn Bay and manager Alan Morgan are looking forward to supporting local children and foster parents again next season.

After backing Conwy Fostering Service throughout the 2017-18 campaign with complimentary season tickets for foster carers and their families, the Seagulls announced they were renewing the offer this weekend to mark the Fostering Network's Foster Care Fortnight.

Held annually to raise the profile of fostering in the UK and show how foster care transforms lives, Seagulls boss Morgan is pictured at Llanelian Road pledging his support for the nationwide campaign which is running until Sunday 27 May.

The Fostering Network are holding an informal information evening for potential foster parents in the town next Thursday night and a Colwyn Bay spokesman said: "Every 20 minutes, a child comes into care in need of a foster family and the club recognise there is a desperate need for more people in the Conwy borough to become foster carers for children in the area."
