Munn's return completes line-up

By David Watters

Former Loughborugh Dynamo star Bradley Munn has returned to the EVO-STIK League club as the final addition to Lee Attenborough's touchline team.

The 25-year-old former Burton Albion, Bedworth United, Eastwood Town and Mansfield Town midfielder was named as a coach on Wednesday as new manager Attenborough completed the recruitment of his staff at the Nanpantan Sports Ground.

The former pro at Burton and Mansfield, who called time on his playing career at Integro League Cup finalists Coalville in May after coming back from a series of serious injuries in the last four years, played alongside Attenborough at both Dynamo and Coalville Town under Tommy Brookbanks.

After being reunited with his former teammate for the upcoming 2018-19 season, Attenborough told fans: “I’m really pleased to add Brad to my coaching team at Dynamo. The day I heard that Brad was retiring from playing I contacted him, we had a chat and I am very happy to have Brad on board."

He added: "This completes my coaching team, with Brad alongside assistant manager Jay Groocock, first team coach Gareth Hussey, goalkeeping coach Connor Middleton and sports therapist Bob Elliott.”

Munn said: “I had a cruciate injury at Coalville, got over that and started playing again, at which point I had a second cruciate injury. Again, I came back from that but then tore my cartilage, and I thought enough’s enough on the playing side.

"I’m really pleased to be returning to Dynamo. I’ve started my coaching badges and I’ve already passed my FA Level 2 course, and I will be taking the UEFA course later this year."
