Nantwich accept offer for Mills

Macclesfield Town bid for star striker

Nantwich Town have announced that they have granted npower League Two side Macclesfield Town permission to speak to talented striker Ben Mills.

In a statement on the club's website, the Dabbers announced that they have accepted an offer of "a undisclosed small initial fee, which would be enhanced based on appearances and any future sell ons."

The Silkmen are believed to have made the offer earlier this week, and are no strangers to buying from the Evo-Stik NPL, having signed Ben Tomlinson from Worksop Town at the end of last season.

Concluding their brief online statement, Nantwich Town said, "The club is very keen to help Ben achieve his ambitions of playing League football, whilst at the same time ensuring the best interests of the club are also considered."
