Saxon, 22, scored four goals in 40 appearances for Kidsgrove last season, featuring in their run to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
He said: “I’m really excited about signing for a great club in Nantwich. They’ve got a history of developing and giving opportunities to young players.
“My aim is to help the team push on again following a good season last year. If I can do that by scoring goals and creating chances then great!
“I’d also like to thank Kidsgrove for giving me an opportunity last season. Now I feetl ready to develop further this year and can hopefully do that by playing at a great club like Nantwich.”
He is the Dabbers' second new signing of the summer, following defender Matty Devine from Witton Albion.
Manager Dave Cooke said: We are delighted to have signed Will. He’s a player we have admired, and have watched over the last few months.
“He is a young attacking player who will bolster our options in that department with his pace and energy. I have no doubt he will fit in well with out squad.
“As always Nantwich Town will be a place for young players to come and ply their trade with our brand of football, and it is always in the hope that we can push one or two of them into league football in the future.”
Meanwhile, Callum Saunders has left the club to join Curzon Ashton.
He follows Danny Glover (Hednesford), Joe Malkin (Chester) and Toby Mullarkey (Altrincham) in departing the Weaver Stadium since the end of the season.
