New boss targets new signings

By David Watters

New Colwyn Bay boss Paul Moore expects to announce his first summer signings for next season's EVO-STIK Northern Premier League campaign after trials next month.

Moore, who is inviting potential players to trials between 12 and 2pm at Llanelian Road on Saturday 11 June, is already working hard on a number targets and securing members of the club's current squad following the relegation of the Seagulls from the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight in April.

Pictured after his appointment earlier this month, he said: "It is very early days and for obvious reasons we want to keep the targets close to our chest for now but at the training day on June 11 it is hoped that the first signings can be announced."

Club officials say potential players should register in advance by sending their full name, date of birth, position and footballing experience, along with a contact number or email address, to Colwyn Bay secretary Paul Edwards at: pauledwardscbfc@gmail.com.
