New facilities are open for business

Frickley Athletic are hosting a commercial get together for local businesses two days before the 2017-18 EVO-STIK League season kicks off.

The Blues, 5-1 winners over North Ferriby United in pre-season on Saturday, are offering the business community an exclusive preview of their new playing and hospitality facilities at Westfield Lane from 5.45pm on Thursday 10 August.

With the EVO-STIK League South club's annual golf day taking place at Hickleton Golf Club a week later on Thursday 17 August, club officials are throwing open their doors for like-minded businessmen and women to network and enjoy a sneak preview of their home's ongoing redevelopment before the new season kicks off on Saturday 12 August.

The Blues have also confirmed the date but not the venue of the first meeting of their supporters club on Wednesday 30 August.
