The 26-year-old featured heavily for the National League North side in the league last season, keeping 15 clean sheets in total.
Now he will bolster Paul Phillips’ Lions squad as they look to push further up the Northern Premier League table after an indifferent start to the season.
He will not be eligible to feature against FC Halifax Town in the FA Trophy on Saturday afternoon, having already played for Southport in the competition earlier this year.
“I have signed on loan hoping to get some game time after struggling with injury at Southport,” Mason said.
“I want to play a part in helping Guiseley and Paul push up the table.
“I have known Paul for a number of years and we have had many conversations over that time.
“Now seems the right time to join up with him. It has been a long time coming.”
