Alltech's branding will be on show around the Zeeco Stadium for the first time on Boxing Day when the Daniels host Corby Town in EVO-STIK League South after the locally founded company was unveiled as the new sponsors of the third-generation artificial grass pitch at the Zeeco Stadium this week.
Stamford chairman David Whitby told fans he was delighted with the early Christmas present for the club's commercial department and boost for the club's community facility for adult and youth sports in a statement announcing the new partnership.
He said: "It is fantastic to welcome Alltech, a local as well as global company as a major new sponsor of the club. We look forward to working with Alltech now and in the future."
Founded in 1980 and established in Stamford in 1988 by Irish entrepreneur and scientist Dr Pearse Lyons, Alltech now has more than 100 manufacturing sites and 5,000 team members globally. While the family-owned company is headquartered in the United States just outside of Lexington, Kentucky, the UK office remains firmly in Stamford with an extensive office refurbishment currently underway and set to open in early 2018 as well as a production facility near Oakham to support Alltech's growing UK business.
Jonathan Younger from Alltech's global marketing team said: “We’re delighted to be able to continue our support of local projects within our UK base of Stamford alongside our wider global charitable initiatives. It’s very important to us to be able to support the communities in which we both work and live."
