New stadium sponsors secured

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League promotion-chasers Newcastle Town are celebrating a major sponsorship boost ahead of the run-in to the 2016-17 campaign.

After passing a major social media milestone last week when they hit the 5,000 followers mark on Twitter, officials at the EVO-STIK NPL First Division South's Castle have unveiled Drayton Beaumont as their new stadium and front of shirt sponsors.

The Castle's second boost in a week saw their Buckmaster Avenue home renamed the Drayton Beaumont Stadium in time to host Saturday's 2-1 victory over Kidsgrove Athletic for Scott Dundas and his fourth-placed side.

Newcastle Town's delighted chairman Jeff Harrall said: “We are very pleased to be associated with such a successful local company. We hope that Drayton Beaumont will stay with us for several years to come and the arrangement will help us to continue to move forward as a club.

"Added to this, the company have sponsored the first team strip and tracksuits and once again we are very grateful to Steve and his company."
