Nantwich Town have completed the signing of former Inverness Caledonian Thistle forward Jason Oswell, writes Robert Summerscales.
The 20-year-old former Crewe Alexandra Academy player was released by the Scottish Premier League outfit in January. He returns to the Evo-Stik Premier Division's Dabbers for the second time and is awaiting international clearance from the Scottish FA.
While on a short loan in 2011 the frontman scored three goals in eight appearances and the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division club's manager Jimmy Quinn is delighted he's back at the Weaver Stadium.
Quinn said: "He's got great potential and in many ways is an old fashioned centre forward. He's big, strong and good in the air. He did a really good job for us a couple of years ago when he came from Crewe and he has developed further since then and hopefully he can repeat that form in the coming weeks."
