The Gladiators announced on Friday that central defender Tom Burgin and striker Jake Orrell had joined their ranks after goal-scoring midfielder Andy Gascoigne arrived on a month's loan from Harrogate Town last week.
Burgin, 24, has signed on a permanent basis from Bradford Park Avenue having previously been with Buxton, Belper Town and Sheffield. Last season he was player of the year at Worksop Town, pictured, before his move to Avenue in August.
Orrell is on loan from Chesterfield having joined the Spireites from his hometown club Sunderland in the summer. Last season he had a loan spell at Gateshead. Since his move to the Pro-Act Stadium, the 18-year-old has made one start in a Johnstone Paints Trophy defeat by Rochdale and a substitute appearance in a Capital One Cup loss at Carlisle.
Gladiators manager Mark Hume has lost the services of striker Dan Cockerline for the his side's first game of 2016 after he was recalled by his parent club Sheffield United this week.
