New winger for Bridlington Town

Bridlington Town have announced the signing of winger Luca Chadli.

The former Scunthorpe United forward has most recently been playing his football for Ytterhogdals IK in the Swedish fourth division.

Chadli, who operates primarily down the left flank, is of Algerian descent and hopes to one day represent his national team.

On the signing, Seasiders manager Mike Thompson said: “Luca still has aspirations in the professional game, and if we can help him do that, I’d be happy to progress him.

“He’s a player that will excite the fans in the final third, for sure.

“I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

He could make his debut for the club when they travel to Carlton Town in the Pitching In NPL East Division on Saturday afternoon.
