Nico DeGirolamo makes Gladiators return

Experienced defender Nico DeGirolamo has completed a move to Matlock Town, subject to league and FA clearance.

He is already well known amongst the Gladiators faithful, having played a big part under Glenn Kirkwood and Craig Hopkins after joining from Mickleover Sports during the 2016/17 season.

He has previously played for Heanor Town, Mickleover, Grantham Town and Buxton FC.

The Italian centre-back would join the Bucks, who at the time were under the charge of current Gladiators manager Paul Phillips, and feature alongside brother Diego, who stills plays for the National League North side.
