North champions hailed as heroes

Lancaster City's fans and officials were swamping social media congratulating their EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's 2017 First Division North champions on Saturday!

Supporters of the club and many others took to Twitter, Facebook and just about every other social media platform going to celebrate the Dolly Blues taking the title with a 5-2 victory at Glossop North End within minutes of full-time and Phil Brown's side being presented with their silverware by EVO-STIK NPL director Andrew Wain.

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League chairman Mark Harris and his directors and officers congratulate all at the club on winning the championship and promotion to the top flight for the 2017-18 season.
