Notice to appoint administrator

The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League has received official confirmation from Northwich Victoria that the club has filed a “Notice of Intention to Appoint an Administrator” at the High Court of Justice in Manchester.

Northwich Victoria owner Martin Rushe informed the EVO-STIK NPL of his decision in a statement on Saturday evening following the club’s 2-2 draw at Carlton Town. In a statement posted simultaneously on the club’s official website the Northwich owner said he regretted the decision and hoped the sale of the club “can be achieved quickly so that it can continue into the future”.

The legal notice is due to expire on Wednesday 30th November when it is likely an Administrator will be appointed. The proposed Administrator has held preliminary talks regarding the sale of the club with interested parties.
