NPL Fans' player award shortlist revealed

The shortlist for the 2019 NPL Show Supporters Award has been revealed.

After 464 nominations for 88 Players selected by the followers of the EVO-STIK League social accounts, the shortlisting committee, made up of Fans from every club in the league along with the Radio Commentary teams, podcast pundits and other media names in the League have had their say and the following 5 players have been selected as the Finalists of the 2019 NPL Show Supporters Award:

Chris Almond - Prescot
Joe Lumsden - Tadcaster
Tunde Owolabi - Radcliffe
Alistair Waddecar - Bamber Bridge
Nathan Watson - Basford United

The final vote for this season's winner is now open - CLICK HERE TO VOTE

Fans can only vote once. Anyone found to have put in more than 1 vote will have all votes removed

Deadline is 23:59 on Sunday 17th March.

The winner will be announced as the NPL Players Awards dinner in Barnsley on Sunday April 7 - tickets are still available via club secretaries for this event.

As is now tradition of the Supporters Award, The Shortlisting committee wish to commend the following players who just narrowly missed out on the Final 5 Spots:

Josh Amis - Warrington Town
Tom Bentham - Atherton Collieries
Nathan Cartman - Farsley Celtic
David Carson - Morpeth Town
Alex Curran - Colne
Ben Garrity - Warrington Town
Ben Hardcastle - Atherton Collieries
Adam Jones - Mossley
Marc Newsham - Sheffield
Leigh Overton - Belper Town (formerly Ossett United)

The Media Team of the Season will be announced on the Monday following the awards.
