Paul Carden appointed Nantwich manager

Nantwich Town have announced the appointment of Paul Carden as their new first team manager.

Carden was most recently managing National League North side AFC Telford, where he saved the club from relegation in the 2021/22 season.

He departed the Bucks in October 2022.

The former Warrington Town boss, who spent five seasons at Cantilever Park, joins Nantwich Town who currently sit in the relegation zone in the Northern Premier League.

Carden will be joined by John Miles as assistant coach, with the pair set to undertake their first training session on Tuesday in preparation for Saturday's home fixture against Hyde United.
