Pay what you want at Colne

Colne have announced that their New Year’s Day game with Kendal Town will be “Pay As You Please”.

With the exception of hospitality, all tickets have been removed from sale and supporters will be able to pay what they want on the gate.

The game kicks off at 3pm.

Colne are currently on the look out for a new manager following the resignation of Nathan Rooney.

Rooney departed after the 5-1 defeat to Clitheroe on Monday.

A club statement said: “The club would like to thank Nathan for his time and dedication during the last 18 months and we wish him all the best in his future career.

“He and Rhiannon will always be welcome up at The Harrison Drive Stadium.

“The process of appointing Nathan’s successor will begin immediately.”
