Player movement at Hednesford

It’s been a busy week in and out of Keys Park for Hednesford Town.

Right-back Kieron Dawes, 19, has arrived on a one-month loan deal from Birmingham City, having previously been on a similar deal with Sutton Coldfield Town.

Winger Joel Logan returns to the club on a month’s loan from FC United, having previously played for the Pitmen in the 2016/17 season.

Sufyan Zia, 21, can cover at centre back and central midfield and has been signed on non-contract terms from Bilston Town.
All three players go in to contention for caretaker manager Francino Francis for Saturday’s home game with Whitby Town.

Amongst those leaving the club is defender Callam Mendez-Jones, who will link up with former Hednesford manager Rob Smith at Halesowen Town, having made more than 50 appearances for the club.

Jeandy Mavinga and Jules Haabo have left following the expiry of their month-long deals and defender Matt Curley has been released.
