Positive impact of digital ticketing

New league preferred partner Kaizen have already successfully implemented with nine Northern Premier League clubs, including Belper Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Lancaster City, Leek Town, Marine, Nantwich Town, Ossett United and Sutton Coldfield Town.

The system enables clubs to sell tickets in advance of match day, and capture vital details for each attendee prior to match day, which is becoming increasingly crucial during these COVID-19 impacted times.

It enables fast and contactless entry in to grounds, as well as controlling advanced sales and dealing with potential capacity restrictions.

The speedy implementation comes at no cost to clubs too, with fees only occurring when someone buys something.

Clubs have used the system to sell Season Tickets, while it also works for merchandise, sponsorship and hospitality packages.

Pete O’Brien, ticketing and turnstile co-ordinator at Ashton United, said: "The experience of Ashton United FC is that the Kaizen online sales facility has been very positive. It has proved to be a valuable tool in the present circumstances where we need to capture fans contact details and manage crowd limits. 

"Our fans have welcomed the system and told us that is easy to set up an account and purchase tickets for multiple games.  We have also found that a very high proportion of visiting fans pre purchase tickets online. 

"From the clubs operational perspective the data on pre-sales allows us to better plan ahead on areas such as catering and stewarding. We can also set up special offers and market these through social media and digital channels. As the clubs  volunteer ticket sales coordinator I find the system user friendly and Kaizen provide a series of useful Guides and FAQs backed up by excellent technical support and advice."

Kaizen is one of a number of partners engaged by the Pitching In Northern Premier League in recent months to provide support and assistance to clubs on the return to football.
