Premier Division Review: South Shields survive late comeback scare to maintain 100% record

Matlock Town bounced back from their defeat to Stafford Rangers with a 4-2 victory over Bamber Bridge away from home, while Marcus Marshall’s goal helped guide Basford United to a 1-0 win over Nantwich Town.

Robert Grant’s goal in the 89th minute helped secure a late point for Radcliffe against Gainsborough Trinity with a 1-1 result, with Lewis Butroid scoring in the 61st minute for the hosts.

Buxton Town and Morpeth Town drew 2-2, while Stafford Rangers against Atherton Collieries ended 1-1.

Goals from Simon Heslop and Nathan Cartman saw Scarborough Athletic defeat Grantham Town 2-1.

Lancaster City claimed the three points at the Giant Axe with a 3-2 score over Ashton United, with goals from Sam Bailey, Paul Dawson and Thomas Kilfin.

Liam Cooke’s goal helped Whitby Town to a 1-0 win at home over Hyde United, while Thomas Owens scored the only goal between Witton Albion and Mickleover for a 1-0 score.
