Keto, 19, initially featured for Gainsborough in a 2-1 victory over Boston United in the semi-final of the Lincolnshire Senior Cup back in February.
The highly energetic full back made 8 appearances for the Holy Blues last season, impressing Gainsborough management and fans alike.
He has featured in Gainsborough's pre-season friendlies and has decided to extend his stay for another season.
Keto is delighted to be staying at the Holy Blues for another season, saying, “I’m looking forward to the season with the calibre of players that are in the squad.
“The support from the Holy Blues made it easier and encouraging to play and I’m excited for another season with Gainsborough Trinity.”
Gainsborough boss Neal Bishop stated that he is happy to get the deal over the line ahead of the new season.
“He’s a player that has come in last season and looked very comfortable at this level. We believe we can work with Prosper Keto and take his game to the next level.”
