Ridler to leave Prescot post

Club statement

Prescot Cables regret to announce that their manager Dave Ridler will be leaving the club in the New Year to take up a coaching position abroad. His last game in charge will be on Boxing Day at home to Skelmersdale.

Dave's connections with the club go back to the very start of his playing career in the 1990's after which he went on to have a successful professional career. He returned to the club as assistant manager in 2009 and took over the reins as manager in late 2010.

The club would like to thank Dave for all his hard work and wish him and his family all the best for the future. The board of directors are particularly grateful for his leadership on the playing side over the last few weeks following the club's switch to amateur status.

An announcement over the managerial vacancy will be made in the near future
