Salford midfielder joins Ilkeston

Ilkeston Town have announced the signing of Liam Loughlin from Salford City.
Loughlin, 21, is a former Leicester City youth player who joined the Ammies in the summer of 2020.
In September that year, the young midfielder made his professional debut for the club against Manchester United’s U21s in the EFL Trophy.
After subsequent loan spells at Farsley Celtic and Northern Premier League side Ashton United, he was released by Salford at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Loughlin will go into contention to make his debut for Ian Deakin’s side on Tuesday night when they travel to Hyde United in the league.
