Sam Wilkinson and Stuart Reddington return to Lincoln

Lincoln United have announced that Sam Wilkinson and Stuart Reddington have agreed to return to the club.

Steve Housham recently resigned as manager at the club, alongside assistant manager Nathan Jarman, citing the club's ongoing financial difficulties for their departure.

Wilkinson left the Whites' manager's job a year ago, and has recently been on the coaching staff at Hykeham Town.

"I am delighted Sam and Stuart have agreed to come back to us in these trying times at the club," said Ian Beaumont.

"They bring with them a wealth of experience and a vast knowledge of what is needed to compete in this league.

"They have been working very hard to recruit players to compliment the ones we already have. I know from working with them very closely before that they will bring a professional and massive work ethic to the players.

"I am by no means saying the task in front of us is going to be easy, but with the recruitment of these two guys, it will make the journey a lot easier."
