Scholars make Christmas donation

£1,200 presented to military charity
AT HALF TIME during Saturday's win over Burscough at the Scholars Ground, Chasetown FC Chief Executive Mike Joiner presented a Christmas donation of £1,200 to Chasetown's nominated charity, the Grenadier Guards Colonel's Fund.
The cheque was received by former Grenadier Guard and former Chasetown manager Mervyn Rowe and his colleague, ex-Grenadier Guards Sergeant Brian Gillon, and this donation takes the total raised for the charity by Chasetown FC to over £8,000.
