Seadogs land prolific Cartman

Scarborough Athletic have signed prolific striker Nathan Cartman from Farsley.

Cartman, 30, has been a regular on the scoresheet throughout his career for Celtic, Darlington and Harrogate Railway.

Manager Darren Kelly told the club’s official website: "Nathan fits perfectly into what we are building at Scarborough Athletic. He is a real statement of intent, due to the fact he is a proven goalscorer, who will bring more experience and professionalism to the squad.

"Nathan has been successful at every club he has been at, we are delighted to bring him in because he is a big coup for the club. When next season finally comes around we will be basing much of our play on the attacking side of things, which is what Nathan is all about.”
