Officials at the EVO-STIK League North club - which returned to play in the town at the brand new Flamingo Land Stadium this summer after a decade in exile - have set a deadline of Friday 15 September for candidates to submit their nominations to stand for election.
According to a Seadogs statement urging candidates to come forward on Thursday, the elections for new directors will be held during their Annual General Meeting in the clubhouse at the Scarborough Sports Village on Friday 13 October. Starting at 7.30pm, the AGM and election take place ahead of their home game the next day against Droylsden.
A club spokesman said: "Now we're playing back in Scarborough at the new Scarborough Sports Village there are some fantastic opportunities to help the club grow and reach out to the wider community. The return home has created a buzz around the town and we are looking to attract individuals with new skills, ideas and commitment to make a difference and join us as a board director."
The spokesman added: "This is your chance to do more than stand on the sidelines and to make a big contribution to the on-going success of the club."
