S/East Preview: Full round of action

A full round of action in the S/East Division. Here's the latest preview...

Table toppers Carlton Town travel to Stocksbridge Park Steels, who sit outside of the play-offs by just a single point.

Carlton are unbeaten in their last eight league fixtures, with four wins and four draws. Most recently, they were involved in a 1-1 result away to Cleethorpes Town in the league to maintain their unbeaten away record. Niall Davey scoring the equaliser for the visitors.

Stocksbridge Park Steels were recently involved on the right side of a seven-goal thriller, defeating Ilkeston Town 5-2 with four goals from Scott Ruthven and another from Joshua Nodder.

In second place, Cleethorpes host Kidsgrove Athletic, who will head into the weekend full of confidence following their 5-0 triumph over Wisbech Town. A hat-trick from Anthony Malbon, with Kyle Blake and Kingsley Adu Gyamfi also joining in on the action.

Just a point behind Cleethorpes and two behind Carlton, Stamford travel to Leek Town. The hosts recently defeated Loughborough Dynamo in the league with a 1-0 scoreline, whilst Stamford are unbeaten in their last six league fixtures.

At the bottom end of the table, Sutton Coldfield Town, who have played the least amount of games so far this season alongside Belper Town, travel to Newcastle who sit 17th in the table.

The Nailers, who sit seventh and are the only remaining unbeaten team in the campaign, travel to Loughborough Dynamo just three places below them in the league.

Lincoln United announced a ‘takeover day’ for when they host Frickley Athletic on November 30 for Sports Business, Events Management, and Erasmus European exchange students at Lincoln University. They travel to Chasetown, who sit 16th in the table.

Elsewhere, Wisbech Town travel to Sheffield whilst Glossop North End host Market Drayton Town, who have the worst goals difference in the competition.

Finally, Spalding United travel to Frickley Athletic.
