Second KitAid donation by North Ferriby

Club donate shirts to go with goal donation

North Ferriby United have made a second donation of football kit to KitAid to support Football Gambia.

The Gambia is a west African country where a third of the population live below the international poverty line.

North Ferriby United’s first donation, in 2011, consisted of mini-soccer goals which are in regular use in Gambia. The latest donation consisted of 97 Shirts, 96 Shorts and 47 pairs of Socks and they should be dispatched to Gambia in the next few weeks.

North Ferriby United Chairman, Les Hare, says, “We are delighted to be able to provide kit and equipment for such a worthwhile cause. As a club, we are only too aware of the cost of providing kits. We are fortunate that sponsorship and fundraising allows us to provide new kits for our teams on a regular basis. It seems right to donate our surplus kit and equipment to those who are in need of it.”
